JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – The Omnibus Law on Employment Creation Law was approved by the Indonesian Parliament and Government in a plenary meeting in the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Monday, October 5, 2020.
Acting as a close leader who upheld the law was Azis Syamsuddin, as the deputy head of the House of Representatives.
Despite the fact that it was legalized, the Golkar Party politician admitted that he had never read in detail the manuscripts of the Omnibus Law on the Employment Creation Law one by one.

“I went through it randomly. If the details are impossible to verify one by one,” Azis Syamsuddin said when interviewed by Najwa Shihab on the Mata Najwa program that aired on Wednesday (10/14/2020).
Azis explained that he did not read the entire text of the Omnibus Law on the Employment Creation Law because he was not part of the labor committee or the DPR Committee.
“I did not participate in the discussion and I did not participate in the Panja (working committee),” Azis said.
