Along with the MatePad T10S, Huawei also introduced the MateBook D15. This laptop is priced at IDR 8 million, along with a number of standout features.

Three aspects are raised, first the appearance of the design. It comes in a 15-inch screen size with Full HD resolution, 16: 9 aspect ratio, and 178-degree wide viewing angle.

This laptop screen seems to have no limits, or is called the Full View Screen. This is thanks to the thin 5.3mm bezel on all three sides.

Due to the thin bezel, Huawei has worked on the location of the front camera. This Chinese provider hides it in the keyboard that will open when used.

“With hidden cameras we can control our privacy. Sometimes, with a laptop with the camera always open, it makes us uncomfortable because we do not know if it is turned on or not,” explained Edy Supartono, training director of Huawei Consumer Business Group Indonesia at an event launch online.

Huawei manufactures this laptop with a metal body. It weighs only 1.53 kg, so it is easy to be invited to mobile activities.

Speaking of performance, Huawei capitalized on it with an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor paired with Radeon Vega 8 graphics.

“Users who have a sufficiently high intensity will be satisfied with the performance of the MateBook D15, of course,” Edy joked.

To cool this laptop, Huawei equipped it with Shark Fin Design 2.0. It has 33% more fan blades than its predecessor.

Also, the single fan performance was 27% higher than before. Also, the airflow is said to be 27% better and without noise.

Another advantage in the charging process. Huawei claims that the MateBook D15 battery can be charged to 53% in 30 minutes thanks to 56W fast charging technology.

“The charging device uses USB type C. So you only need to bring a charging device to be able to charge the many devices we carry,” said Edy.

Sophisticated functions are also provided. There is a fingerprint that is integrated with the fingerprint button. Then there is Eye Comfort which protects the eyes by reducing blue light.

Huawei began opening pre-orders for the MateBook D15 from September 1-10 exclusively on JD.id. The price is IDR 8,699,000.

The customer is promised a refund of up to IDR 1.7 million plus a total prize of IDR 1.3 million in the form of a backpack, power bank, Huawei mouse, and JD.id shopping vouchers.
