YAKARTA, KabarMedan.com The | Huawei officially brought its new smartphone, the P40 Pro, to the Indonesian market after its global launch in late March 2020.

In this Indonesian market, Huawei P40 Pro sells cheaper than the globally launched price, which is only for Rp. 14,499,000. While the global price of the P40 Pro series sells for 999 euros (or approximately Rp. 17 million).

Huawei Deputy Country Director CBG Indonesia Lo Khing Seng said the price is the best price Huawei can provide to the Indonesian market for current economic conditions where the rupee is under heavy pressure.

“If there are no extreme changes in global economic conditions, Huawei will maintain this price for the Indonesian market,” said Khing Seng.

Khing Seng further stated why Huawei brought the P40 Pro series first because this series was considered to have the most qualified specs to compete with competitors who had already been present in the Indonesian market.

Huawei P40 Pro is compatible with Kirin 990 5G processor to offer integrated 5G connectivity with the most complete 5G connection support, strong AI performance and energy efficiency. But unfortunately this 5G connection cannot be felt by Indonesian users.

This smartphone is also equipped with a HUAWEI four-curve overflow display. Inspired by the art of movement, this display has curved corners on four sides, creating a shape that resembles the surface of the water in a full glass.

While the very thin bezel and efficient curved corners ensure a more ergonomic grip and an almost borderless look. This design is capable of an increasingly improved on-screen search fingerprint reader, making biometric authentication 30% faster.

Display responsiveness and gaming experience are taken to the next level with an enhanced graphics rendering engine and fully utilize the HUAWEI P40 Pro’s 90Hz panel.

160MHz Wi-Fi 6 Plus technology also features high-speed connectivity that supports a 2,400Mbps transmission rate, which is theoretically the highest compared to smartphones in its class.
