HRS does not want your case to divert incidents of deaths of FPI members

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The general secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Munarman, transmitted a message from Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS), so that the case that now entangles him does not divert the incident of the death of six members of the FPI. As is known, six members of the FPI died during a confrontation with police officers on Monday (7/12) in the morning of the WIB.

“Habib ordered that the case Habib is investigating not distract from the issue of the murder of the six FPI laskar,” Munarman said in front of the Ditreskrimum Building Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, on Saturday (12/12).

According to Munarman, the murder case of six FPI Laskar guarding the leading HRS sector was in Komnas Ham. For this reason, he asked Komnas Ham to carry out a deepening process, from what has been done so far from the follow-up to increase to the investigations.

“The leading sector is in the National Human Rights Commission and we ask Komnas Ham to carry out a deepening process,” Munarman said.

A total of six FPI soldiers were shot dead during the confrontation between the Police and the FPI. The six FPI soldiers were Andi Oktavian, born on October 29, 1987. Then, Ahmad Sofiyan alias Ambon, born in Jakarta, on July 6, 1994, Faiz Ahmad Syukur alias Faiz was born on September 15, 1998. Then, Muhammad Reza alias Reza was born in Jakarta on June 7, 2000, and Lutfi Hakim born on September 27, 1996, finally Muhammad Suci Gaddafi born in 1999.

Meanwhile, the National Police Headquarters has officially taken over the case of the FPI Laskar shooting that was guarding the HRS group with members of the Polda Metro Jaya. The case will also involve the Police Propama Division.

“Currently, the case has been withdrawn to the National Police Headquarters,” said the Chief of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General of Police, Argo Yuwono in his statement, on Tuesday (12/8).
