SURABAYA, KOMPAS.TV – The mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, intercepted a group of young people who were arrested by the police during an action against the Omnibus Law in Surabaya, on Thursday (10/8/2020).

Risma scolded them for destroying public facilities in Surabaya. Risma is getting angry because they are not residents of Surabaya.

“How can you, I’m half dead from waking up this city, you’re destroyed?” Said Risma, quoted by kompas.com, Thursday (10/8/2020).

On the same occasion, Risma asked one of the Lamongan protesters about the reason for his participation in the demonstration against the Omnibus Law in Surabaya.

“You know what the Omnibus Law is,” Risma asked.

The young man then replied, “You know, the law, but I don’t memorize it,” said the young man.
