Buenos Aires –
The passing of Diego Maradona makes the world cry today. However, there are some parties that are desperate to distribute photos of the legend’s body.
Maradona passed away on Wednesday (11/25/2020) at his residence in Tigre, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Argentine soccer legend passed away at age 60 due to cardiac arrest.
Maradona is known as one of the best soccer players in history. While playing, he was successful with Boca Juniors, Napoli, Barcelona and the Argentina team, when he helped the Albiceleste win the 1986 World Cup.
This fame made Maradona’s death exploited by various parties. Some people spread photos of the body of The D10, for whatever purpose.
The one who transmitted it was one of the funeral home employees. Diego Molina, the employee, was caught taking a photo with Maradona’s body and uploading it to social networks. It wasn’t long before Molina was fired immediately.
This led Maradona’s lawyer, Matías Morla, to criticize him. He promised to drag anyone who did such a thing.
“Given the viral nature of the photo of Diego on his deathbed, I would personally try to find the bastard who took the photo. All those responsible for such cowardice will pay for it,” Morla said.
Molina was fired and has already made a personal apology to the Maradona family. Morla criticized Molina when he learned his identity.
“Diego Molina is the bastard who took the photo next to Diego Maradona’s coffin. In memory of my friend, I will not rest until you pay for the act,” he explained.
