Also, there is another video that records the same at Rp. 100,000 using the app Augmented reality (AR) Ivive.

When confirmed on Saturday (9/26/2020), Bank Indonesia Communication Department Executive Director Onny Widjanarko said that BI had not augmented reality (AR) for IDR 75,000.

“Bank Indonesia does not create AR content in 75,000 rupee independence commemorative money (UPK75) or other rupee currency,” Onny said.

He said that AR was not included in the characteristics of the rupee currency circulated by Bank Indonesia.

According to Onny, AR technology can be applied to any object, not just money.

What is that augmented reality or AR?

Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Solo Professor of Informatics and Informatics Engineering, Nurchaya Pradana Taufik Prakisya, said the video for the song Indonesia Raya that appeared when Rp.scan probably using AR.

Meanwhile, the professor of Education in Computer Engineering and Informatics at UNS, Rosihan Ari Yuana, said that not all applications scan can generate AR.

“Request scan can open AR correctly, but not all apps scan can open AR. Only certain apps can, “Rosihan said when contacted separately by Kompas.com, Sunday (9/27/2020).

According to him, the applications that can generate AR are applications scan which is programmed to be able to read / scan a particular marker.
