JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Although it has reopened, the Puncak Route, Bogor, West Java, still leaves a story about New Years Eve in 2021. It is generally known that this area is crowded every New Year, but not with the change of this year.
At the time, thousands of vehicles were reported to be heading to the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, making a U-turn because they couldn’t show the rapid antigen test result.
Kasatpol PP Bogor Regency, Agus Ridho, said that most of the cases occurred before the 2021 change or Thursday, December 31, 2020.
“In fact, many vehicles were turned over. From data with the police on New Year’s Eve, there were 1,380 vehicles that we returned at Gadog Post,” Agus said, on Saturday (February 1, 2021).

Then at the same time, around 550 vehicles turned around in Rindu Alam area from Cianjur or Bandung in the direction of Puncak. The average vehicle that rolled over due to the same, could not show the rapid antigen test result.
“In fact, on average (the returned vehicles) do not carry a fast antigen letter,” he said.
A total of 1,200 visitors to Puncak were then recorded to have taken the rapid antigen test at the Gadog Post and the Rindu Alam Command Post. Of these, 17 were reactive and two of them were foreign citizens of Yemen.

“There are residents of Cianjur, there are foreigners from Yemen, two people who live in Jakarta and visit Puncak, the results are reactive. There are also residents of Tangerang, but most of them are residents of Jakarta, ”said Agus.
Agus added that every day during the Christmas and New Years holidays, his party together with the Bogor Regency Health Office prepares 200 rapid antigen kits.
However, due to the limited number, Puncak visitors are asked to perform the rapid antigen independently.
