High speed car officers hit 3 vehicles and kill mother and son

PEKANBARU, KOMPAS.com – Mother and son traveling by motorcycle were run over by a car driven by a public official until the two victims died in Bangkinang city, Kampar Regency, Riau province.

The accident was captured by a closed circuit television camera.

The head of the Kampar Police, AKP Traffic Unit (Kasatlantas), Angga Wahyu Prihantoro, upon confirmation, confirmed that the two victims were mothers and children.

The victim’s name is Nur Asni (37) and her son, Amelia (16). Both died after being run over by a car driven by an official named Heri Susanto (60).

“The mother and child were killed in a series of accidents at Jalan Tuanku Tambusai in front of the Kampar Transport Office, on Friday (2/4/2021), around 2:00 PM WIB. Angga explained that the successive accidents started when Heri Susanto moved from Jalan Ahmad Yani to Jalan Tuanku Tambusai in a Honda Mobilio.

This official was driving at great speed. Arriving in front of the Kampar Transport Office, Heri’s car veered to the right of the road and collided with an automatic motorcycle driven by Zukri Efendi (41) who was carrying his wife, Hefniati (41). The two victims were teachers.

Not only that, the Honda Mobilio car also collided with an Ayla car driven by Masnidar (51) coming from the opposite direction.

“After that, the Honda Mobilio car collided again with the motorcycle that Nur Asni and her son Amelia were driving. The two victims were knocked down and their motorcycle was dragged by the car until it stopped in the middle of the road,” Angga said. . .

As a result of the accident, the mother and child died on the spot. The bodies of the two victims were later transferred to Bangkinang Regional Hospital.

“Meanwhile, other vehicle drivers only suffered injuries and were taken to Bangkinang Regional Hospital for medical treatment,” Angga said.

He added that this accident case is still being investigated by the Kampar Police Traffic Police. This is because the driver of the Honda Mobilio could not yet be asked for information.
