SUKABUMI – Indonesian President Joko Widodo delivered a message to suspected terrorist families in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, through Sukabumi Police Chief, AKBP Lukman Syarif, in Sukabumi on Saturday.
“I was contacted by the presidential staff to convey a message and mandate to the allegedly terrorist family renting a house in Limbangan Village, Cibodas Village, Bojonggenteng District, Sukabumi Regency,” said Sukabumi Police Chief, AKBP, M. Lukman Syarif , through the public relations officer. by Ipda Aah Saepul Rohman in Sukabumi, Saturday.
According to him, there were several messages from President Jokowi that were relayed directly by the Sukabumi police chief, AKBP Lukman Syarif, to SA (25), who was the wife of a suspected terrorist.
In addition, the president provided cash assistance to the alleged terrorist’s wife because she was in debt and still had a several-month-old baby.
The president, he said, knew that the wife and son of the alleged terrorist were in dire conditions due to the act of her husband, who was involved in a terrorist organization after reading the news online.
Aah explained that the assistance was in the form of cash which was entrusted to the Sukabumi Police Chief of the Presidential General Staff.
He stressed that this compensation was pure assistance and had no other purpose.
“SA, the wife of the alleged terrorist, thanked Pak Jokowi for responding to her complaint because he was in debt to the bank and still had a baby, so the burden on the family was greatly reduced,” he said.
