Heavy rains reddened the city Bandung from Thursday (12/24) in the afternoon. As a result, several areas of Bandung were flooded flood.
According to the information collected, several areas that have been flooded due to heavy rains include Jalan Cihampelas, Jalan Pasteur and Jalan Pagarsih.
“We learned the information about the flooding this afternoon because there was rain. There were a lot of flood points,” West Java BPBD staff, Eko, told CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (12/24).

Stagnant water also occurred due to heavy rains in Jalan Margacinta, Kelurahan Margasari, Kecamatan Buahbatu, Bandung. A local resident, Agnes Savithri, said it had rained since the afternoon.
Even his house was flooded. Agnes said that Jalan Margacinta floods regularly when it rains heavily.

“The water has started to drain, the rain has subsided,” he added.
The flood that affected the Pasteur area, precisely in Jalan Dr. Djundjunan, caused traffic jams and submerged several four-wheelers.
The flooding in the area occurred around 5:00 pm WIB, after heavy rains hit the Bandung area about two hours earlier. As a result, the river water in the area overflowed up to a meter high on the road.
“We still have data on which areas are flooded, river water overflows and floods in Cilebut,” Bandung City PB Diskar director of disaster management Dian Rudianto was quoted as saying by Between.
As soon as the water began to recede, about three cars trapped at the flood site experienced engine problems after submerging. The flow of traffic resumed, but the congestion dragged on for quite some time.
The Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Agency (Diskar PB) is still collecting data on various flood points.
Meanwhile, officials from the Bandung City Public Works Office (DPU) have been repairing several water channels in the Pasteur area.
