JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV-The joy surrounds the former general president of PP Muhammadiyah Din Syamsuddin who married Rashda Diana, granddaughter of KH Imam Zarkasyi, founder of Pondok Pesantren Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java.
The wedding took place in Ponpes Gontor, today Sunday (1/3/2021).

Din, also known as the Presidium of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE), is also a graduate of Gontor Islamic Boarding School.
Meanwhile, Rashda is a professor at Darussalam Gontor University, East Java, in the Faculty of Sharia. He completed his doctoral studies at Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University in 2019 with a thesis degree, “Institutionalization of Modern Al-Mawardi State Policy.”
