The Sriwijaya Air SJY-182 plane crashed in the waters off Male Island, Thousand Islands. Hanura Party Secretary General Gede Pasek confirmed that one of his cadres named Mulyadi P Tamsir was one of the passengers on the plane.

Mulyadi is the former Chairman of PB HMI and Chairman of the Hanura Party DPP organization. Pasek said Mulyadi boarded the plane with his wife and in-laws.

“Together with his wife (Makrufatul Yeti Srianingsih) and his father-in-law (Ms. Khasanah),” he said.

Pasek has been trying to reach Mulyadi’s cell phone number since this afternoon. However, the number cannot be located.

“Yeah, we can’t call either. We haven’t been able to call each other before,” he said.

For information, the Sriwijaya Air SJY-182 aircraft lost contact while flying from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng. Transport Minister Budi Karya Sumadi confirmed that this plane crashed.

On the other hand, the Director General of Air Transport of the Ministry of Transport, Novie Riyanto, said that it is currently under investigation and in coordination with the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) and the National Committee for Transport Safety (KNKT).
