JAKARTA – Status of the High Priest Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab in the Drug Detention Center (Rutan) Polda Metro Jaya looks perfectly healthy. In fact, Habib Rizieq seemed to smile despite being in a prison cell.

The General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Munarman also relayed Habib Rizieq’s condition after visiting the FPI leader at the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Detention Center some time ago. He said Habib Rizieq’s condition is currently in good condition.

As is well known, investigators from Subdit I of Kamneg Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya officially detained Rizieq on Saturday morning, December 12, 2020. Habib Rizieq was detained around 00.22 WIB after undergoing an examination for 13 hours.

In this case, Rizieq was charged with articles 160 and 216 of the Penal Code. Article 160 of the Penal Code contains the incitement to commit acts of violence and non-compliance with the provisions of the law, with the threat of six years in prison or a fine of 4,500 rupees. Meanwhile, article 216 paragraph 1 of the Penal Code regarding obstacles to legal provisions. The threat is imprisonment for four months and two weeks or a fine of 9,000 rupees. Meanwhile, the other five suspects are subject to article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 on Sanitary Quarantine. The threat was one year in prison or a fine of 100 million rupees.

They are the general president of the FPI DPP Sobri Lubis, the commander of the Army of Islamic Defenders (LPI) Maman Suryadi and Haris Ubaidillah as chair of the Event Committee. Furthermore, Ali Bin Alwi Alatas was always the Events Secretary and Habib Idrus as the Head of the Events Section.
