Habib Rizieq fined 50 million IDR, Doni Sanjung Anies Baswedan

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The head of the Covid-19 Management Working Group, Doni Monardo, spoke about a fine of 50 million rupees to Habib Rizieq Shihab.

Rizieq was fined for organizing the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and the wedding of his daughter, Sriafah Najwa Shihab on Saturday (11/14), causing crowds and failing to implement health protocols.

Doni assessed that the fine imposed by the DKI Jakarta provincial government on Rizieq was correct.

“I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the Governor of DKI, Mr. Anies Baswedan, who has taken measurable action against the violation of an activity carried out in Petamburan,” Doni said at the Kemayoran Athletes’ House, Central Jakarta, on Sunday ( 11/15).

Doni said the Rs 50 million fine was sent by the Jakarta Satpol PP to Rizieq and the organizing committee.

He said the administrative fine was the highest for Rizieq.

“This fine is the highest element,” said the director of the National Agency for Disaster Management.

According to Doni, Rizieq could be subject to more severe fines if he violates health protocol again and causes a crowd.
