jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Habib Rizieq Shihab arrived in Indonesia after flying from Saudi Arabia. The high priest of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) is said to be still in Terminal 3, Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
One of Habib Rizieq’s lawyers, Damai Hari Lubis, said his client arrived at the airport and was greeted by ustaz, habib and supporters.
Habib Rizieq also did not eat the food served by the welcome committee at the airport.
“Not eating anything and not drinking anything (of what is served). He brought his own supplies,” Damai said when confirmed, on Tuesday (11/10).
Damai added that Habib Rizieq deliberately only ate the food he brought because he did not want anyone to want to harass him.
“He ate nasi mandi, he drank date juice that had been brought from Mecca,” Damai added.
Meanwhile, the situation around Petamburan, in central Jakarta, was still filled with crowds welcoming Habib Rizieq. They are still faithfully awaiting the arrival of Habib Rizieq as of this morning. (guinea pig / jpnn)
