Habib Rizieq detained, policeman: not to flee

JAKARTA – Chief Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab was officially detained by Polda Metro Jaya, Sunday (12/13/2020) early morning. Rizieq himself has become a suspect in the crowd in Petamburan in central Jakarta.

The head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, explained that his party held the leader of the FPI in the Detention Center of the Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya so that the suspect does not escape and have lost evidence.

Argo explained that Habib Rizieq will be detained for the next 20 days at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center, starting on December 12, 2020.

Furthermore, according to Argo, before he was detained and examined, the investigators interrogated Habib Rizieq with 84 questions.
