Habib Rizieq detained in Polda Metro, several crowds filled the Petamburan: National Okezone

JAKARTA – Chief Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Habib Rizieq Shihab was officially detained for Polda Metro Jaya. Habib Rizieq himself has become a suspect in the crowd case in Petamburan in central Jakarta.

Based on the video received OkezoneOn Sunday (12/13/2020) in the early hours of the morning, several masses crowded into Jalan Petamburan III, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, when they learned that Habib Rizieq was being detained at Polda Metro Jaya.

“Mining is moving, come on,” said a man who recorded the video.

Previously, the Chief of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said that his party had detained Habib Rizieq at the Jakarta Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate Detention Center, so that he would not escaped and lost evidence.

“So that first we don’t run away, lose evidence and don’t repeat the action,” Argo said at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters.

Argo explained that Rizieq would be detained for the first 20 days at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center during his detention.

Furthermore, according to Argo, before he was detained and examined, the investigators interrogated Habib Rizieq with 84 questions.

“In the exam, the investigator gave 84 questions that were asked of the MRS suspect,” he said.
