Jakarta –
Habib Idrus prays for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and PDI-P Director Megawati Soekarnoputri for a short life at the Prophet Muhammad SAW birthday event hosted by Habib Rizieq. PPP assessed that this sentence did not agree with Habib Rizieq’s moral revolution jargon.
“Even if we pray for what was said above, I think it does not agree with the moral revolution carried out by Habib Rizieq Syihab,” PPP Wasekjen Achmad Baidowi told reporters on Monday (11/16/2020).
Baidowi, who is familiarly called Awiek, considered the seemingly bad prayer incompatible with Islamic councils. In fact, Awiek said, Islam teaches good prayer throughout a person’s life.
“I believe that if we are not taught to pray for the miserable person, ethically, morally, we are not encouraged to pray for people to be better, age blessings, even pray for a long life, given the opportunity to repent,” said Awiek . .
“Because the name is just a prayer, it is the best prayer for those for whom we pray,” he continued.
Also, according to Awiek, people who pray for bad things mean that they do not understand Islam. He doubted the religious understanding of prayer.
“If praying is not good, I think this could have a different understanding, a religious understanding or a different source,” he added.
It is known that during the Prophet’s birthday celebrated by Habib Rizieq Syihab in the Petamburan area of Jakarta on Saturday (11/14/2020), there was a clergyman who prayed for President Joko Widodo and Ketum PDIP Megawati to have a short life. . This later went viral on social media.
“We pray for Habib Rizieq Allah to prolong his life. So lead insyaallah in Indonesia. Second is Allah to shorten the life of Megawati and Pak Jokowi. Al-Fatihah,” Habib Idrus said at the Maulid Nabi event hosted by Habib Rizieq, last Saturday (11/14).
Suddenly, this prayer was accepted by the congregation that attended the event. “Amen,” shouted the congregation at the scene.
