BUKITTINGGI, KOMPAS.TV – The president of the Siliwangi Bandung Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG SBC), Lieutenant General TNI (Purn) Djamari Chaniago, explained that the incident of attacking 2 TNI members occurred due to a misunderstanding due to to congested roads.
As head of the group, Djamari said that he had apologized to the victim and to Commander 0304 Agam Kodim (Dandim) for the incident. Djamari hopes that this problem can be solved through a familiar route.
Djamari said his entourage planned to spend 2 days in West Sumatra province, before continuing the journey at zero kilometers in Sabang, Aceh province.
The tourist activity is on the itinerant agenda entitled “Long Way Up Sumatra Island”, which is scheduled for October 29, 2020 to November 7, 2020.
Previously viral on social media videos of the beatings carried out by HOG SBC Bandung members against 2 TNI staff members from 0304 Agam Kodim.
The beatings took place in Simpang Tarok, Guguk Panjang District, Bukittinggi City. The police have named 4 members of HOG SBC Bandung as suspects.
