The National Police mourned the loss of one of their best sons, Inspector General Ignatius Sigit. The police general who had long experience in the persecution of terrorists died of illness.
Inspector General Ignatius Sigit’s last position was Head of the Propam Division. Inspector General Sigit died at the age of 51 at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, on Friday (10/30/2020) at 11:08 WIB.

This sad news was confirmed by the Chief of the Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Argo Yuwono. Argo said police felt they had lost their best son.
“Of course, this is a deep pain for the police, because they lost their best son. Currently his body is still in the hospital,” Argo said.

The cause of death of Inspector General Sigit
The National Police said that the head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ignatius Sigit, had died due to various illnesses or complications.
“Complications, due to diseases of the heart, kidneys and lungs,” Argo said.
