Neymar suffered an ankle injury in the Paris Saint-Germain vs Lyon match. The Brazilian forward thanked God because he felt lucky that his condition wasn’t so bad.

On matchday 14 of Ligue 1, when PSG was beaten 0-1 by Lyon at the Parc des Princes, on Monday (12/14/2020) WIB at dawn, Neymar suffered an ankle injury. The most expensive player in the world was hit by a tackle from Thiago Mendes in the final minutes of the match.

When he was hit by a doorway, Neymar groaned in pain and saw himself cry. After receiving treatment, Neymar was immediately stretched by medical personnel. He fears that his injury is serious. Because former Santos and Barcelona have a long history of injuries, including ankle injuries.

On social media, Neymar finally raised his voice. The 28-year-old admitted that his injury was not too serious and thanks God for it.

“It could have been worse, but again, God saved me from something serious. My cries were of pain, despair, fear, sadness, surgery, crutches and other terrible memories,” Neymar posted on Instagram.

“I hope to recover and come back as soon as possible,” Neymar continued on his climb.

Neymar’s condition will be monitored in the next 48 hours. His condition is expected to recover, because clearly PSG need him when they face Barcelona in the knockout stages of the Champions League next month.

This season, Neymar has scored 9 goals and 5 assists for PSG in all competitions. Neymar also helped PSG to third place in the French League standings, and advanced to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
