jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, made a firm statement on efforts to take action against drug traffickers.

General Idham Azis threatened to include a ‘substitute player’ for the Provincial Narcotics Investigation Director who was unable to take strong action against drug traffickers in his area.

“I’ve told all of Dirnarkoba, if he’s scared, I’ll find a substitute player. A lot of substitute players, if the drug is ‘vegetable chicken,'” Idham said at the online DPR RI Commission III working meeting, in Jakarta on Wednesday. (30/9).

Idham emphasized that he did not want any of the Dirnarkoba who could not take action against drug traffickers with a firm, smooth “vegetable chicken.”

On that occasion, the Chief of the National Police reiterated his commitment to eradicate drug traffickers who want to destroy the nation’s generation.

“To this day I have not withdrawn my order to take strong action against all (drug) traffickers, especially those from abroad who want to destroy our nation’s generation. I will take responsibility,” Idham said.

Idham said that the police should not allow anyone to try to bring drugs into Indonesia.

Police must take firm and measured actions in accordance with the SOP to respond to rampant drug trafficking.
