jpnn.com, YAKARTA – Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo proposes to the Director General of Land Transport to close the path for rats that travelers commonly travel.
Because based on a search, Ganjar found many travelers who entered Central Java via the rat path.
“I have coordinated with the provincial government next door, including West Java, Jakarta, and the Director General of Ground Transportation to close the way so that it cannot be passed,” Ganjar said during a discussion on Securing Eid in the Middle of the Pandemic via virtual video, on Thursday (5/14).
Ganjar said he once asked one of the travelers who came from the capital and escaped from the checkpoint to prevent residents of mudik amid the pandemic virus COVID-19.
Ganjar explained, the newcomers were trapped in one of the homecoming ban posts.
But the driver already has another way that escapes into police custody. One of them via the rat route.
“Yesterday we had met our friends and there were friends in Banyumas. We found two groups, one from Jakarta, one from East Java, but both passed,” Ganjar said.
“He finally told me how he could get away with it. So he said, ‘They hit me yesterday and told me to turn around. After that it turned out that the driver was looking for a rat’s path, “” Ganjar said, speaking with the travelers.
