The Indonesian Under-19 team beat Qatar 2-1 in a test match. PSSI Umun President Mochamad Iriawan watched Garuda Muda’s fight from underneath the foot of Mount Ciremai.

Iriawan, known as Iwan Bule, expressed his appreciation to the players who had trained hard during training camp. He revealed it after holding a watch with the U19 National Team with PSSI ranks in Cisantana Village, Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency.
“Alhamdulillah. Indonesia won and it was more impressive to see under the foot of Mount Ciremai. Hopefully our national team can get up and do their best for Indonesia,” Iriawan told detikcom on Thursday night (9/17/2020).
Despite winning, he asked PSSI technical director Indra Sjafri to assess the things the Indonesian national team lacked during training camp in Croatia.
“The game improvement is quite significant and after the match, I called coach Indra Sjafri to evaluate the rudimentary ones. That will be followed by coach Indra Sjafri,” he continued.
Mochamad Iriawan also spoke about Shopee Liga 1, which is scheduled to begin shooting on October 1. According to him, his party is currently still waiting for permission from the Chief of the National Police to hold the game.
“League 1 signed a memorandum of understanding with BNPB this morning, we only need permission from the Chief of Police and League 1 will start on October 1. The opening match will take place in Yogyakarta. League 2 will then follow.” said.
During the filming of League 1, he also made sure not to allow a match with the spectators.
“After League 1 there should be no spectators, the public can see it from television,” he concluded.
