JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PDI-P faction DPRD DKI Jakarta Commission B member Gilbert Simanjuntak said that the digital awards won by the DKI Jakarta provincial government were less felt by the public.
According to him, some of the problems that exist in society, such as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the informal sector that lack contact, do not really need a digital system, but budget policies and programs.
At present, almost all MSMEs policies and programs in Jakarta are said to come from the APBN or the central government. Meanwhile, APBD’s contribution to this sector is said to be minimal.
“Free digital systems are built if there is no pro-people policy,” Gilbert said in a written statement on Sunday (12/27/2020).

Gilbert also mentioned several other issues that are still the task of the DKI Jakarta provincial government, such as floods, garbage, for the construction of the LRT that are not yet clear.
“The new problem is that the absence of a cemetery does not require a digital system, but an execution,” he said.
Not only that, he also reminded the provincial government of DKI Jakarta about the achievement of the Rp 0 DP House program.
Because currently, the realization of residential development has only touched 780 units, out of a total goal of 300,000 units in 2022.
On this condition, Gilbert criticized the DKI Jakarta provincial government’s policy of building housing in Kampung Akuarium. He said the land structure in the area was not suitable for tall buildings.
Therefore, he said that the DKI Jakarta provincial government’s action of displaying three award plaques was seen as simply displaying personal egos amid the high Covid-19 cases in the capital city.
“We expect Anies to recover quickly because the Covid-19 case in DKI Jakarta is on the rise and has obtained new scores several times this December, so it is not appropriate to brag as if it has performed above the death toll,” Gilbert said .
It was previously reported that the DKI Jakarta provincial government won the TOP 2020 digital awards.
