LONDON – England media, Athletic, wrote that Frank Lampard’s future as Chelsea manager is at stake. In fact, it’s not impossible, Chelsea’s management will take an unpopular step by firing Frank Lampard today, Monday (1/4/2021).

Frank Lampard failed to boost Chelsea’s performance this season, especially in the Premier League. In just the last six matches of the 2020-2021 Premier League, Timo Werner and his friends only got one win, one draw and four losses!

Most recently Chelsea, who appeared at home to Manchester City 1-3 in the 17th week of the 2020-2021 Premier League, on Monday (4/1/2021) WIB early in the morning. Due to a series of previous negative results, Chelsea stayed in the middle of the standings.

Until week 17 of the 2020-2021 Premier League, Chelsea was stuck in eighth position with a collection of 26 points. In reality, the rumors about the removal of Frank Lampard from the Chelsea manager’s chair are not new.

Half last week, rumors about the firing of Frank Lampard also echoed. Apart from the poor results experienced by Chelsea, it was rumored that Lampard would be fired because several renowned coaches were unemployed.

There are at least two top coaches who are currently unemployed. They are Thomas Tuchel and Massimiliano Allegri.

Thomas Tuchel has awarded PSG six trophies in just 2.5 years as a coach. In fact, he was about to present the Champions League trophy if PSG did not lose to Bayern Munich in the 2019-2020 final.

Massimiliano Allegri has shown an achievement no less great. The Italian coach has helped Juventus win the Italian League for five consecutive seasons!

Allegri is currently listed as the coach with the second highest collection of Italian League titles with six trophies. Allegri only lost one trophy to Giovanni Trapattoni in first place.

Furthermore, Allegri also led Juventus to qualify for the Champions League final twice (2014-2015 and 2016-2017) despite always losing. So it’s interesting to look forward to Frank Lampard’s future with Chelsea.
