Makassar –
The South Sulawesi Islamic Defenders Front (FPI Sulsel) asked its members to remain “cool” when responding to the incident of the death of 6 followers of Habib Rizieq Shihab in the early hours of yesterday. FPI South Sulawesi emphasized that no member should “move” outside of command.
“We have deliberated and asked to remain calm. We are still in a state of pain,” said FPI spokesman Arman Rachman during a conversation with detikcom, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
According to Arman, a situation like this should be watched. Do not let, he said, that there are third parties who really take advantage of the situation.
“Do not allow any third party to take advantage (of the situation). The permanent members must continue working as usual, without additional movements,” he said.
FPI Sulsel himself is not without attitude when responding to the incident of the death of 6 bodyguards of Habib Rizieq. Arman said FPI Sulsel and several other community organizations (ormas) plan to convey their position today.
“Later, we will move forward to deliver a statement in front of the South Sulawesi DPRD office,” he said.
