jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Well-known cleric Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) reacted strongly to the shooting case carried out by the police that resulted in the deaths of six soldiers from the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

“There are three important points that I want to convey regarding the shooting and the death of six FPI soldiers,” UAS said on the Salwa Media Channel on YouTube on Tuesday (12/8).

The first, UAS said, killing one person is like killing everyone. He also recalled that whoever kills a believer, the reward is hell.

UAS also said that there is no religion in this world that makes killing a solution to solving a problem.

Second, the UAS asked the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) to investigate it thoroughly so that there were no prolonged slander.

“Currently, information of various versions appears. Komnas HAM must resign so that there are no more slanders and to put out the sparks,” he said.

“If Komnas HAM acts by investigating thoroughly what really happened, God willing, help and the problem will be solved,” continued UAS.

Thirdly, UAS calls on all congregations and the Indonesian nation not to provoke themselves, not to be smart in thought, smart in social media and to pray a lot to Allah.
