Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

The victim’s family condemned the incident. Shooting six sympathizers of the leaders of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab by the police during the confrontation on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Suhada, parents of Faiz Ahmad Syukur (one of the victims), did not accept the actions of the apparatus.

“We really don’t accept our situation. What we really regret is that after (the alleged) children were killed, there was no statement from the police,” he told reporters at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Jakarta, the Tuesday (12/8).

Suhada admitted that so far there has been no direct communication from the authorities about the incident. He learned that his son was killed by the hot track of the media. According to him, the police are highly unethical.

“It means that as a civilized country based on a just and civilized humanity, this is very rude, very unethical,” he said.

He hoped the state could attend to investigate the incident. The reason is that he regards the death of his son as a form of murder.

“And we are the family of these murder victims that we speak of as murder without a judicial process, our language is like that,” he said.

Previously, a clash between the police and Rizieq supporters took place on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road on Monday (7/12) around 00.30 WIB. As a result of the incident, six people suspected of being Rizieq sympathizers died.

“From the initial investigation, the group that attacked the members was identified as a special laskar,” Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran told Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (12/7).

However, the chronology of the incident was different from that described by the FPI. They denied that the Laskar guarding Rizieq was equipped with firearms.

In fact, according to FPI, his group was attacked by an Unknown Person (OTK) while escorting Rizieq to attend an event.
