LIVE – The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) is still in the public eye due to its controversy with PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII. The problem is due to the land to build the Markaz Syariah Islamic boarding school in Megamendung, Bogor Regency, West Java.

DPP FPI Undersecretary General Aziz Yanuar said his party is ready to liberate the Markaz Syariah Islamic boarding school in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java. This is a subpoena sent by PTPN VIII.

“That the MS-MM administration is ready to release the land if the state needs it,” Aziz said in his statement on Friday, December 25, 2020.

However, FPI is demanding compensation for the land that was ordered if it is released. The reason is that he said that his party had built the land.

Furthermore, according to him, his party bought the land from the farmers with complete letters.

“Please compensate the family and the ummat that has been spent to buy the over-cultivation of the land and the construction costs that have been incurred,” he explained.

He explained that the compensation money would later be used to rebuild the Markaz Syariah Islamic boarding school elsewhere.

“So that the compensation costs can be used to rebuild the Markaz Syariah Islamic boarding school elsewhere,” he said.

Earlier, the land of the Markaz Syariah Islamic agro-cultural boarding school, which covers an area of 31.91 hectares in Kuta village, Megamendung district, Bogor Regency, was questioned. This stems from a letter number SB / I.1 / 6131 / XII / 2020 dated December 18, 2020 that was sent by PTPN VIII. This letter was signed by PTPN VIII Director Mohammad Yudayat.

In the subpoena, Mohammad Yudayat stated that there was a problem in the physical control of the land area of PTPN VIII Kebun Gunung Mas of approximately 31.91 ha in Megamendung by the Islamic agro-cultural boarding school Markaz Syariah. The issue has been written since 2013 without the permission and approval of PTPN VIII.

Likewise, PTPN VIII explained that the land was an asset referring to HGU Certificate Number 299 of July 4, 2008. PTPN also warned that there was a criminal threat to physical possession of the HGU land without permission and approval from PTPN VIII.

To that end, PTPN VIII warned the leaders of Markaz Syariah Ponpes to surrender the lands or be vacated no later than seven days after the letter was received.
