Jakarta –
The Interior Ministry (Kemendagri) said that the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) once registered as one of the mass organizations in the Interior Ministry. However, the registered status ended in June 2019.
“The FPI was once registered as one of the mass organizations in the Interior Ministry and finally its registered status ended in June 2019,” Kapuspen Kemendagri Benny Irwan told reporters on Friday (11/20 / 2020).
Benny said that at that time FPI had requested an extension of the Registered Certificate (SKT). However, the extension could not materialize because, according to him, there were requirements that FPI had not met.
“In addition, FPI proposed an extension, but the Registered Certificate (SKT) could not be extended because there are still requirements that have not been met,” he explained.
What are the requirements that the FPI has not met?
“AD / ART Organization,” Benny said briefly.
FPI has not included one of the statutes / ART required by law. The AD / ART must contain a clause on internal conflict resolution. Because it has not been met, Benny continued, the FPI SKT cannot be extended.
“(FPI) is not registered as a mass organization with the Interior Ministry,” Benny said when asked about the impact of the expired SKT FPI.
