jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, highlighted the ambush action carried out by the army of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) of the Polda Metro Jaya investigators in front of the residence of Habib Rizieq Shihab. This is related to efforts to block the submission of subpoenas to Habib Rizieq in Petamburan, central Jakarta, some time ago.
Idham also emphasized that the state must not be inferior to social organizations (mass organizations) that use killing methods to obstruct the law enforcement process in Indonesia.
“The state must not be inferior to the mass organizations that carry out killing actions. We will brush them all. Indonesia is a rule of law. All elements must be able to maintain public order and security,” Idham said in his statement, on Thursday (03/12).
Former Kapolda Metro Jaya called on all interested parties or mass organizations to comply with the legal umbrella in force in Indonesia.
Idham assessed that the criminal threat is clearly regulated for parties trying to obstruct the law enforcement process in Indonesia.
“There are criminal penalties for those who try to prevent officers from carrying out the law enforcement process,” Idham said.
In addition, Idham assured that the National Police would thoroughly investigate the cases of alleged sanitary quarantine violations, specifically in this case the alleged violation of health protocols (prokes) in various events attended by Rizieq.
“The National Police always advance the principle of Salus Populi Suprema Lex Exto or the Safety of People is the Maximum Law,” said the former chief of Criminal Investigation of the Police.(guinea pig / jpnn)
