“Because we suspect that the decree is the dirt of civilization. So our answer is that we just throw the dirt, it’s over,” he added.

Previously, the government officially banned the mass organization of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). The dissolution was based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Menkum HAM, the Minister of Communication and Information, the Minister of the Interior, the Attorney General, the Chief of Police and the BNPT.

“That FPI since June 21, 2019, as an organization of the FPI, continues to carry out activities that violate security and are contrary to the law,” said Coordinating Minister of Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahmud MD in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/30/2020).

Mahfud continued, currently this mass organization created by Habib Rizieq no longer has a legal position as an organization in the country. Therefore, all FPI activities are prohibited activities and have no legal basis.

“Based on statutory regulations. The government prohibits the activities of the FPI and will stop the activities of the FPI because the FPI no longer has a legal position, neither as a mass organization nor as an ordinary organization,” he concluded.
