An FPI ambulance arrived at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, in East Jakarta. The ambulance car collected the bodies of Habib Rizieq supporters who were shot dead on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to take them to Petamburan.
On-site monitoring, Tuesday (8/12/2020), FPI ambulance arrived at Police Hospital at 8:12 PM WIB. Officers at the scene immediately opened the fence for the ambulance to enter the hospital.
On the windshield of the ambulance are the words “DPD FPI DKI Jakarta”. A short time later, the ambulance left at 8:28 p.m. WIB leaving the Police Hospital.
The police car was seen escorting the FPI ambulance as it left the Police Hospital. A few minutes later, the second FPI ambulance arrived at the Police Hospital.
Previously, the police were seen on guard in the forensic room of the Police Hospital. The body will be transferred immediately to Petamburan, in central Jakarta.
Polda Metro’s head of Public Relations Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said his group would escort the six bodies of Habib Rizieq’s followers when they were taken away by the family. The police will escort them to the destination of each of the six bodies.
“Everything will be carried out escorting to the destination that is run by the family,” Yusri said at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/8).
Meanwhile, since this afternoon, the mourners had reached Jalan Petamburan III. Laskar also protected the side of the road while controlling traffic.
“At 19.00 WIB, we will arrive at the Petamburan Sharia Headquarters. God willing, the bodies will arrive, leaving Kramat Jati Police Hospital, inshaallah at 18.00 WIB,” said one of the soldiers through a loudspeaker.
Laskar then asked other residents to move the vehicles parked around Gang Paksi.
“Please temporarily remove those who put them in Gang Paksi. Please move the four-wheelers and two-wheelers. Please understand,” he added.
