Zulaimi Agus was arrested in Serang Baru, Cibarusah, Bekasi Regency, on Monday (29/3). The Densus 88 counterterrorism team found several explosives in Zulaimi’s rented house. He admitted that he learned how to make bombs after the riots in front of Bawaslu on May 21, 2019.
“I learned to do TATP or acetone peroxide since the post-May 212 riots off Bawaslu. I have tried five times to do it at the Serang Baru Motorbike Synergy Workshop, Cibarusah, Bekasi Regency. I learned how to do this material from an Internet blog by activating a VPN, “said Zulaimi Agus.

Zulaimi Agus was motivated to manufacture explosives because he wanted to defend justice in his own way against Brimob’s actions against 212 protesters. He himself admitted that he joined the FPI in 2019 in the DPC area Serang Baru, Bekasi Regency, as deputy head of Jihad .
