Former House Speaker Marzuki Alie Blunt Student Costs to Reject Job Creation Omnibus Act

PALEMBANG, KOMPAS TV – Former DPR RI President for 2009-2014, Marzuki Alie, bluntly revealed that he provided fees to students who participated in demonstrations to reject the Omnibus Law on Job Creation.

As is known, Marzuki Alie, who serves as rector of Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM) in Palembang, South Sumatra, supports all students to take to the streets to protest the ratification of the Omnibus Law.

Not only supporting, even Marzuki Alie also facilitated all of her students by preparing food assignments for those who participated in the demonstration.

“Students participate in the demonstration that we facilitate, come to campus, we give you money for food so that you are not influenced by outsiders who give packed rice,” Marzuki said, quoted from Kompas.com on Saturday (10/10/2020).

Marzuki revealed that he invited all of his students to contribute to the society.

Also, provide aspirations contrary to government policies that are considered not pro-people.
