Iyut Bing Slamet was arrested by a detective from the South Jakarta Police Drug Unit for possession of crystal methamphetamine in his home. This was confirmed by the Chief of the Narcotics Unit of the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kompol Wadi Sabani.
“Yes, that’s true. The Narcotics Investigation Unit Team secured a person with the drug-related initials IBS. The person in question claims to be a former child artist,” Wadi Sabani said, quoted by detikcom.
Iyut Bing Slamet was arrested at his residence in the Kramat Sentiong, Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday night (03/12/2020). During the arrest, the police found multiple evidence of methamphetamine and its suction device.
“During our arrest we obtained evidence by using drugs and paper clips suspected of containing methamphetamine,” Wadi said.
When the police found evidence at his home, Iyut Bing Slamet cried hysterically. “Oh Allah … what is it?Iyut Bing Slamet said while crying hysterically, in the arrest video that was deliberately recorded by the authorities.
His family also tried to calm him down. “Heh … heh … Yut … Yut, risk … risk“said a man.
“Oh Allah … just die … just die … Oh Allah … Oh Allah,” Iyut said hysterically.
Iyut Bing Slamet was sitting on a mattress. While several policemen searched his room.
The police searched the entire room in Iyut Bing Slamet’s room. There was a bong from a mineral water bottle that the police were pulling out of a sideboard. Later, the police searched other places.
When a urine test was taken, Adi Bing Slamet’s younger brother tested positive for drugs. Until now, Iyut Bing Slamet is still being questioned at the police station.
“The urine results are positive. In the future, we are still examining and examining this arrest,” said Wadi Sabani.
