KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Former PT Bank President Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) Maryono was designated by the Attorney General’s Office as a suspect in a tipping case by two of the company’s debtors.

Kapuspenkum Kejagung Hari Setiyono said Tuesday night (10/6) that Maryono allegedly received a total tip of Rp 3,127 billion. The tips came from the company’s two debtors, PT Pelangi Putera Mandiri for Rs 2,257 million and PT Titanium PROPERi for Rs 870 million.

“The role of HM (H. Maryono) as president and director of BTN at that time was to encourage the issuance of credit lines to the two debtors who did not agree with the SOPs applicable to BTN,” said Hari.

Tips were continued, the days occurred in the 2013-2015 period. Titanium PROPERi received a loan of Rs 160,000 crore from BTN on December 31, 2013, while the loan from Pelangi Putera was a transfer from PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Timur to BTN Samarinda Branch for Rs 117,000 crore. on September 9, 2014.

Since its transfer to BTN, Pelangi Putera’s credit has proven to be of poor quality. This is evident from the AGO’s findings that the loan was restructured multiple times on July 29, 2016, October 18, 2017, and November 30, 2018.

“Before transferring credit, Pelangi Putera once sent funds to HM’s son-in-law, Widi Kusuma Purwanto, worth 2,257 million rupees. Widi also received 870 million rupees from Titanium PROPERi,” Hari continued.

In addition to naming Maryono as a suspect, the AGO has also named Pelangi’s CEO Yunan Anwar as a suspect. For information, the AGO has made a determination of a suspect after examining both of them since Tuesday (6/10) this morning.
