BANDUNG, KOMPAS.TV – The viral scavenger commonly called Abah Tono claimed that he only received Rp1,500-Rp2,000 per day apparently because he was forced by a young man who was a video recorder.

In the clarification video, Abah Tono admitted that he had, in fact, declined to be interviewed for the reason he wanted to search trash for trash.

“That the younger brother continued to force. Asking Abah how much income per day, Rp. 1,500 coming out of Abah’s mouth. Did he ask enough? I answered enough if he wanted to buy cookies and clean water.” Said Abah Tono.
