POTENSIBUSNIS – For approximately 6 hours, the Komnas HAM RI investigation team “glared” at a firearm suspected of belonging to a member of the FPI Laskar in the Jakarta-Merak toll road incident some time ago.
The Komnas HAM RI investigation team has seen and examined evidence in the form of firearms and stab weapons related to the clashes involving the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI).
At the time of the incident, the police explained that there had been a shootout between members of the FPI Special Army on the KM 50 Jakarta-Merak toll road.

In addition to firearms and sharp weapons, Komnas HAM also examined devices, voice messages and certain information related to the devices of deceased FPI paramilitaries that were confiscated by the police.
Because firearms were being used, the Komnas HAM RI Investigation Team had seen and examined evidence in the form of firearms and sharp weapons related to the clash involving the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) troops.
The head of the Komnas HAM investigation team, Choirul Anam, in his written statement on Thursday, December 24, 2020, said that the examination of the evidence was carried out by requesting information from the Bareskrim police team covering Labfor and Cyber for approximately six hours.

“The information is taken to obtain information, procedures, methods and substance of the evidence,” Choirul Anam was quoted in the Galamedia newscast titled “Weapons Sharpened During Confrontation Between FPI and Police, Komnas HAM Has Examined.”
