jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Former Democratic Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean openly called on KH Ma’ruf Amin to resign from his vice-president position and join the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
Ferdinand made the request in an upload via his Twitter account on November 21, in response to the statement made by Deputy Vice President Masduki Baidlowi, who said that Vice President Ma’ruf Amin had no problem meeting Habib Rizieq.
“And we don’t really have a problem and we don’t care if Mr. Ma’ruf wants to step down as vice president and join the FPI. We do it sincerely, sir …! Let the vice president position be filled with those who can work …! I’m sorry, yes …! ” Ferdinand wrote.
Kiai Ma’ruf wasn’t the first person Ferdinand asked to resign.
Earlier, the man who once headed the Jokowi Presidential Volunteer Line (Bara JP) also asked Fadli Zon to resign as a DPR member and join the FPI.
He did not accept that Fadli blamed TNI, especially Pangdam Jaya, Major General Dudung Abdurachman, who ordered the removal of billboards bearing the image of Habib Rizieq in the capital.
“Fadli should just quit the DPR and join the FPI rather than blame TNI for being right and defending wrong,” Ferdinand said.
What about Kiai Ma’ruf, what is the reason for requesting the resignation of vice president?
