TRIBUNNEWSMAKER.COM – On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Ferdinand Hutahaean resigned from the Democratic Party.

The decision was announced by Ferdinand through his Twitter account.

“Yes, it is true, I have officially announced my resignation through my Twitter account,” Ferdinand said when confirmed by Kompas.com on Sunday.

Ferdinand plans to deliver the resignation letter directly to the Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Democratic Party.

Ferdinand apparently resigned due to differences in principles and perspectives with the party’s stance on national issues.

Including the issue of the Law (UU) Create Work approved by the DPR on Monday, October 5, 2020.

As is well known, the Democratic Party together with the SMEs declared that they rejected the ratification of the law.

“Differences in principles and different views on national affairs between myself and other administrators are the main reasons,” he said.

“Last yesterday, the very basic perspective on the Job Creation Act for me strengthens my decision to resign,” continued Ferdinand.

Ferdinand also had different principles regarding match management, which made him uncomfortable.
