JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The head of the Presidential Personnel Office (KSP), Moeldoko, joked about the public reports to the Palace and the government.
According to Moeldoko, his party opens opportunities for people who want to report various problems with the public services of the government program.
He made sure the community was not acted upon when he presented his report.
“I assure you that if they report, we will not arrest them. So do not hesitate,” Moeldoko said during a question and answer session with the community at a virtual “KSP Hearing” event on Thursday (11/2/2021).
On the same occasion, the former TNI commander mentioned various reports submitted by the public. He said that in the future the public could continue to transmit problems and suggestions to the government.

Meanwhile, Deputy II of the Presidential Personnel Office, Abetnego Tarigan, said that his party together with the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, Kemenpan RB and the Ministry of the Interior run an official website for public complaints called lapor. go.id.
“This is a system developed by the government as a mechanism to accommodate the complaints and problems faced by the community,” Abetnego said.
In addition to the official website, the public can also use the app and submit reports to NGOs that are partners with the government.
Abetnego revealed that from 2017 to 2020, his party had registered an increase in complaints from the public.
However, according to him, this does not necessarily become a benchmark for the growing number of problems that people face.
“But more and more people are using this reporting feature to convey complaints or issues they face,” he added.
