JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former spokesperson for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who is currently the Head of the Public Relations Office, Febri Diansyah, resigned from the KPK.
KPK Acting Spokesperson Ali Fikri said Febri had submitted his resignation letter to the KPK Human Resources Office.
“The information I received was that the Human Resources Office had received the resignation letter in question,” Ali said on Thursday (9/24/2020).

Ali still does not know the reason for Febri’s resignation. He only explained that the internal mechanism of the KPK regulates that employees who resign must submit a written statement one month in advance.
Meanwhile, Febri did not respond when asked about the news and the reasons for his resignation.

Until now, Febri has been known to the public as a spokesperson for KPK from December 2016 to December 2019.
Febri resigned as KPK spokesperson in December 2019 and chose to focus as Head of the Public Relations Office of the Corruption Eradication Commission, which he held at the same time.
Before joining the KPK, Febri Diansyah was a registered activist with Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW).
