JAKARTA – Gerindra Party politician Fadli Zon commented on the action of Pangdam Jaya Major General Dudung Abdurachman, who continued to curb illegal billboards in his area. Including the Habib Rizieq billboards.

To date, General Dudung, together with the Police and Satpol PP, has so far commissioned 900 billboards.
Fadli Zon said that Dudung Abdurachman will be remembered as the Pangdam Jaya who won the war against billboards (the Baliho War).
“Pangdam Jaya will be remembered as the man who won the Billboard War #TheBalihoWar. So far it has managed to destroy 900 billboardso ”, the former vice president of the House of Representatives tweeted on his Instagram account, @fadlizon, quoted this Tuesday (11/24/2020).

Earlier, Pangdam Jaya stated that the billboards that were taken down were not only related to the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS), but all the billboards were illegal.
“There are about 900 (billboards) now in DKI Jakarta. That is a lot, it is not just Rizieq what we do. We have done something illegal, if you do not agree with the provisions of the regional regulation, we will lower it,” Dudung said in Makodam Jaya, Cililitan, East Jakarta, on Monday (11/23/2020).
