Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Member of Commission I DPR RI, Fadli zon, informed the Criminal Investigation Agency (Criminal Investigation Unit) Police on suspicion of having committed a criminal act related to the content pornography on social media.
The report was made by a lawyer named Febriyanto Dunggio at Bareskrim Polri on Friday (8/1). In this case, the case has been received under registration number LP / B / 0018/2021 / Bareskrim.
“Yes, it is true, we informed Bareskrim before,” Febriyanto said when confirmed, on Friday (8/1).
Febri said the report was made because Fadli “liked” an account that contained immoral videos to be posted immediately on his account.
“With the likes of the @fadlizon account, other Twitter users can directly access or know about it, whether they are followers of the @fadlizon account or not,” he said.
In the police report received by CNNIndonesia.com, it is suspected that the case is related to cases of pornography or prostitution through electronic media or social networks.
The incident allegedly occurred on January 7, 2021. In this case, the reported person who was caught in the case was the owner of the Twitter account @fadlizon.
Febri suspects that the twitter account has violated the provisions of article 27 paragraph (1) of Law number 19 of 2016 regarding the Amendments to Law number 11 of 2008 on ITE, and article 4 (1) of the Law of Pornography and / or article 14 and / or article 15 of Law Number 1 of 1946 KUHP.
“So why do we report paragraph (1) of article 27 for ITE and sentence (1) of article 4 for pornography,” he said.
Previously, Fadli, who also served as deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, admitted that there were oddities on his Twitter account. He denied liking indecent accounts.
Fadli believes that this is a form of negligence by the staff dealing with his social networks. Fadli has also warned and evaluated his staff.
“The management team and I verified yesterday the rarity of this Twitter account. It is true that we never like indecent sites, they always block them,” said Fadli, quoted from the Twitter account @fadlizon, on Thursday (July 1 ).
