Chronology of the discovery of the corpse

The head of the Pancoran Police Criminal Investigation Unit, explained Iptu Supardi, the discovery of the body began when members of Polda Metro Jaya arrested a person in Depok, West Java.

The arrests were related to reports of missing persons with the initials RHW, some time ago.

“Before that person was taken to Polda (Metro Jaya) and was immediately arrested by a member of the Polda. Yes, it is true that he initially reported the disappearance, ”Supardi said on Wednesday.

Supardi emphasized that the alleged homicide did not occur in the apartment room where the victim was found.

The victim is known to have been killed and mutilated in central Jakarta. Only then was the victim stored in the room of the Kalibata City apartment.

“Yes, here only to the place of the victim. If they do it (mutilation) in the Juanda area, in central Jakarta,” he said.

Supardi has not been able to explain further about the case because it is currently being handled by Polda Metro Jaya.

Starting from a missing person case

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya’s Head of Public Relations, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, when confirmed, confirmed that the bodies found had been reported missing since September 9, 2020.

“The initials are RHW, which says that since 9 (September) they have been lost,” Yusri said.

At that time, the victim’s family made a report to Polda Metro Jaya, three days later, on September 12, 2020, to be precise.

Police also conducted an investigation and found the victim to be dead.

“An investigation was carried out and bodies were found in the apartment,” he said.

Wrapped in crunch

When they found him, the body of the mutilated victim was wrapped in a plastic bag.

Parts of his body were put in a suitcase kept in a room of the apartment.

“The condition is mutilated, the pieces are wrapped in plastic bags and put in a suitcase,” Yusri said.

After processing the crime scene (TKP), the victim’s body was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta.

Yusri explained that based on the initial examination, SHW’s body was previously reported missing.

“We did an initial autopsy and in fact the initial autopsy results confirmed that the person in question was R (SHW) according to the LP (police report),” Yusri said.

The aggressor is more than one person

The police also have the identity of the suspect in the murder of the victim.

The murder was allegedly committed by several people.

“The perpetrators have been identified. There are several, more than one perpetrator has been identified,” Yusri said.

Yusri said the motive for this murder was not yet known. All identified perpetrators are in hot pursuit.

“Right now we are going after the perpetrators,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the manager of the Kalibata city apartment in South Jakarta is still reviewing CCTV camera footage related to the discovery of the body of a man said to be a victim of mutilation.

“(CCTV footage) Tower E is still under review,” Kalibata City Apartments General Manager Ishak Lopung said when confirmed.

So far, Kalibata City Apartments has coordinated with Polda Metro Jaya to reveal the body discovery case.
