DIY NEWS – The government will continue to provide assistance to people affected by COVID-19 until 2021. One of them is related to Presidential Productive Assistance (Banpres) or Direct Effective Assistance (BLT) for MSME players.
The Coordinating Minister of Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, also confirmed that the 2.4 million rupees aid for micro-entrepreneurs will be extended until 2021.

Target recipients of 12 million microenterprises
The Minister for Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) said the government aims for up to 12 million micro-entrepreneurs to receive BLT.
Meanwhile, at stage V, 2.67 million microentrepreneurs have received BLT. So the total from stage I to stage V, up to 5.59 million microentrepreneurs who received the BLT, with a total value of Rp. 13.4 trillion.
The assistance is provided free of charge, also known as grants to help MSME players gain capital when starting a business. However, this BLT UMKM was delivered to microentrepreneurs who really qualified.
