Semarang –
The distribution of social assistance in the form of assistance of 600,000 IDR / month for employees with salaries below 5 million IDR is channeled through state banks. So what about employees who have private bank accounts?
In the first stage, the distribution was made to 2.5 million recipients in the accounts of Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI and BTN. Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah explained that the bank that is a member of the association of state-owned banks (Himabara) also acts as a distributor for private banks.
“The government bank as a distributor, the recipient of the program does not have to be in a government bank. So co-workers, please send (the account number) of the bank you have, the important thing is that it is active, it does not have to be a government bank because the government bank only distributes, then it is transferred according to the account number . Ida explained after the event at Horison Nindya Hotel Semarang, on Sunday night (8/30 2020).
“At the moment, the data is 60 percent in state banks and 40 percent in private banks,” he added.
The first stage of distribution is for 2.5 million recipients and Ida said it would increase the number in the second stage. She also added that government bank accounts can be direct, while private bank accounts require less time.
“This week, Monday, we will ask not 2.5 million but 3 million for the next process,” he said.
The total budget spent for this assistance, Ida continued, was 13.7 trillion rupees. Currently, the bill collection process is still going on and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is also validating.
“The total funds are Rp. 37.7 T. We are trying to collect account numbers from coworkers. Those who have entered are 13.8 million and are currently in the BPJS validation process, there are 10.8 million ”, he said.
